Manual Retractable Bug and Solar Screens in Greenville, SC

Greenville homeowners love their porches, decks, and patio doors, but warm evenings come with mosquitoes and long afternoons bring glare. Phantom manual retractable screens solve both without a motor. The screen slides across the opening, keeps insects out, softens the sun, and tucks away when you want the door fully open.

Upstate Retractable Screens supplies and installs manual retractable bug and solar screens in Greenville, SC made to the exact size of each opening. They are a natural fit for sliding, folding, and stacking doors on homes across the city and surrounding neighborhoods.

Greenville homeowners often choose manual screens to:

Keep patio and deck doors open in warm weather without insects
Cut glare and heat on sun-facing glass doors
Protect pets and family from mosquitoes at dusk
Avoid the wiring and power needs of a motorized system
Keep a clean, open look when the screen is retracted
Stop the screen partway across to open only what is needed

Simple Operation For Busy Households

A manual screen works the way you expect. Pull it across the opening, latch it closed, and release it when you want to open up again. The mesh runs inside a track, which helps it stay secure and aligned even when there is a breeze.

Because there is no motor or power supply to think about, installation is often straightforward, and daily use is easy for everyone in the house, from teenagers to grandparents.

Bug Mesh Or Solar Mesh For Your Greenville Home

The mesh you choose changes how the screen performs. Insect mesh maximizes airflow and view. Solar mesh reduces glare and heat and adds a degree of daytime privacy while still letting you look outside. For a shaded porch, insect mesh is often enough. For a south- or west-facing patio door that heats up every afternoon, solar mesh can make the room more comfortable. We bring samples to your home so you can compare them in your own light.
